HubSpot

Onboarding, and keeping it running.

A new portal set up properly, or an old one put right. We are a HubSpot partner and we build in it every day, which is a different thing from having a certificate.

Where we come in

Three situations.

01

You have just bought it

A new portal, an onboarding requirement, and a team that needs it working before the next quarter starts.

02

You are moving to it

A migration from another platform, with years of contacts, content and automation that has to arrive intact.

03

You already have it and it is a mess

Three admins ago somebody built a workflow nobody understands, and now nothing can be changed safely.

What you get

What the work includes.

01

Setup

Domains, tracking, users, permissions, objects and properties, done to the HubSpot onboarding plan for the hubs you bought.

02

Migration

Contacts, companies, deals, content and templates moved across, with the mapping agreed before anything is imported.

03

Templates

Email, landing page and blog templates in your brand, built so your team can use them without a developer.

04

Automation

The workflows that matter, documented, with the ones you inherited and no longer need switched off.

05

Training

Sessions for the people who will use it daily, recorded, plus a written runbook for the things that get forgotten.

06

Management

An ongoing retainer where we hold the admin seat and keep the portal healthy month to month.

Worth knowing

Two practical notes.

Onboarding follows HubSpot's plan

Where you have bought onboarding, we run it to the marketing or sales plan for the hub and tier you purchased, rather than inventing our own.

Management needs Professional

Portal management assumes at least Marketing Hub Professional. Below that tier the automation and reporting we rely on is not available.

Repairs are quoted separately

Fixing an inherited portal is different work from setting up a new one. We scope it after the audit rather than guessing at it.

Questions

Common questions.

Are you a HubSpot partner?

Yes, since 2020. More usefully, we build in it every week for our own marketing as well as for clients, so the advice comes from running it rather than from a certification course.

How long does onboarding take?

A straightforward Marketing Hub Professional setup takes four to six weeks. Migrations depend on how much history is coming with you, and we scope those after looking at the source system.

Can you work with our existing agency?

Often, yes. We are frequently the technical half while someone else runs campaigns. It works best when the split of responsibilities is written down at the start.

What happens if we want to take it in-house?

Then you take it in-house. Everything is documented as we build it and the admin seat is yours. We would rather hand over a portal that works than hold the keys to one that does not.

Next step

New portal or an old one that has drifted?

Either way the first step is the same: a look at what you have and what you need it to do.
