Questions

Common questions.

What does Resonance Inbound do?

Four things: inbound content and search, account-based campaigns, revenue operations, and HubSpot onboarding and management. Most clients start with one and add others over time.

Could we do this ourselves?

Some of it, yes, and we'll tell you if we think so. Where an in-house marketer already writes well and knows the buyer, the gap is usually the HubSpot build and the reporting, and that's a project we can scope on its own.

Do we have to use HubSpot?

For the build work, yes. We'll advise on strategy and content whatever you use, but the delivery assumes HubSpot, and mostly Marketing Hub Professional or above. It's the platform we know inside out, and we've chosen to stick to it.

How do we show up when buyers ask an AI assistant?

Mostly through sources you don't own: published articles, analyst notes, directories and roundups. Your own pages need to be written so they can be quoted, but the corroboration elsewhere carries the most weight. Resonance measures this every week across the UK B2B technology category and publishes the method. Read the work.

How long before we see results?

The build takes about six weeks. Enquiries usually start in months two and three. Pipeline follows your sales cycle, and in a considered B2B purchase that's rarely under six months.

What size of company do you work with?

Mostly B2B businesses between about twenty and five hundred people, with a considered sale and more than one person in the buying group. Below that a retainer is rarely the right spend, and we'll usually suggest a project instead.

Can you work with our existing agency or in-house team?

Often. We're regularly the technical half while someone else runs campaigns, or the content half while an in-house team owns the portal. It works when everyone's responsibilities are agreed in writing at the start.

What happens if we want to bring it in-house?

Then you do. Everything is documented as it's built and the admin seat stays in your name, so the handover is straightforward.

How does this relate to Resonance PR?

Same company. PR earns third-party credibility: coverage, analyst opinion, a byline someone else published. Inbound is your own channel: your site, your content, your CRM. Most programmes want both. The PR practice.

What does it cost?

We quote after a scoping call. The pricing page explains the three shapes an engagement takes and the things that move the number.

Still stuck

Ask the awkward one.

The questions people hesitate over are usually the most useful ones. Send it over and we'll give you a straight answer.
